Testimonials
Our daughter started riding with Kim when she was seven. She did not have any past riding experience but bonded right away to Kim's teaching style. Hailey had a desire to learn about horses and riding and not just to ride for fun. This interest combined with in Kim's more intense teaching style helped her to advance quickly in her riding skills. I was impressed, that through Kim, she was not just learning all the correct riding techniques but also grooming, tacking, and safety. Kim has also had to help Hailey deal with issues such as the feeling of intimidation and nervousness associated with showing. The ability to teach and also help a rider deal with emotional issues shows how well rounded Kim is as a coach. Hailey has now been riding for 6 years and has won numerous awards including High Points 13 and Under two years in a row. She has learned to care for and respect horses under the direction of her coach. I would highly recommend Kim as a coach based on the knowledge and skills Hailey has gained and the fact that I am very confident Kim's ability to keep the safety of my daughter the priority.

Kim Merklinger has been a very important role in my personal training to ride. She is not afraid to tell you when you have done something wrong, and ALWAYS makes sure to tell you when you are right. She was patient knowing that I was a self instructed rider. She is
fun and easy to get along with. A real instrumental part of my fine tuning. She is always willing to lend a hand or advise. You can be sure that she will tell you what is on her mind.
To me Kim's best quality is her drive and determination to get to the riders goals.
She doesn't push to hard. She just generally cares. Kim unknowingly
adopts her students into her family.
Thanks for all the help Kim,
Kenny Ellis
